We're Hiring a Marketing & Business Growth Intern!
We are searching for a new team member who is a creative thinker, has a passion for marketing, and is excited about opportunities of working with a growing business.
What you'll be doing (AKA Responsibilities)

Support day-to-day execution of our marketing plan, working with the Client Success and Communications Manager, including:
-
Creating and posting (via AgoraPulse and Buffer) social media content across company channels

Engaging on social media within company guidelines helping to build the online EnPoint Community
-
Managing and creating content for, distributing, and tracking monthly newsletters (HubSpot)
-
Monitoring digital marketing performance analytics routinely and for bi-monthly reporting
-
Actively participating in the distribution process for all PR content and media opportunities
-
Researching and with guidance, pursuing media and other promotional opportunities, including featured articles, podcasts, speaking engagements, etc. for EnPoint

Assist in creating and managing marketing and sales campaigns, including: work with manager to create campaign briefs, create assigned content (using Canva), monitor campaign performance and track results, and provide feedback and recommend solutions for improvements.

Support the creation of sales collateral (using Canva)

Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of EnPoint's marketing website and landing pages (Wix)

Regularly updating databases, spreadsheets, and media/distribution lists as it relates to marketing and public relations activities

On occasion:
-
Support software testing and development and/or refinement (of our existing proprietary mentorship platform, online learning centre, and assessment tools and/or exploration of new ways to add value to clients),

Contribute to short-term marketing planning

Conduct research to analyze customers' behaviour (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences)

The Ideal Person
-
Has any diploma/degree with a focus on Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing/Public Relations, and/or Management and flare for marketing

Experience related to the above responsibilities (can include personal projects, academic projects, volunteer work, contract work, etc.)

You’re excited about what we're doing and the challenges and opportunities of a growing business, and want the opportunity to work within a small team

You love everything marketing – the more creative and powerful, the better! You follow marketing accounts, blogs, podcasts, peer groups, etc. and are an active learner - You’re a creative thinker, not afraid to bring new ideas to the table and better yet excited to be the one to make them happen!

You possess a wicked sense of initiative and ability to learn and adapt to evolving needs -Experience with Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop or some other design tool(s) ideal -You’re the one who loves to organize in your friend group and possess a good ability to set priorities and adhere to deadlines

You’re super attentive to details and are a fan of checking your own work before pushing “send”

Exposure to Wix or another website CMS is ideal but not required

Experience editing video content will be considered an asset but is not required

The Logistics

Full-time role

Remote position

$16.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Location: While our team is based in NS, we work fully remote with the occasional in-person meetings. We’re open to anyone joining our team!

Starting May 2024, ending in August 2024

Please note, this position is funding dependant. We are hoping to leverage federal funding (SWPP) to support this hire which has the following requirements of participating students:

To participate in a student work placement you must be: Registered in a post-secondary program that includes work placements

Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person with refugee protection given under the law; and

Legally able to work in Canada according to the laws and regulations of the province or territory where you live
