EnPoint Recognized For Collaboration With Digital Nova Scotia

EnPoint’s collaboration with Digital Nova Scotia on the Skills For Hire program has impacted over 1,500 students, as reported in the recent SaltWire article.

In this collaboration, EnPoint provided the crucial mentorship tools necessary to advance tech sector students in their career development.

This collaborative effort has created waves in Atlantic Canada’s technology sector by providing students with a transformative, 20-week program with both technical training and support that helps participants learn the essentials of career building.

Participants have shared that they can confidently navigate the job market and a new sector after participating. It’s been our pleasure to support these participants in their career journeys!

Atlantic Canada Skill For Hire’s lessons will remain forever with graduates, who speak to the importance of both career development and mentorship in making them career-ready:

“During our half-hour 1-to-1 mentoring session with one of the program’s advisors, I received valuable insights on effectively networking, not just in person but also virtually. The advisor provided tips on enhancing my LinkedIn profile and shared a list of virtual fairs I could attend, which has proven useful in expanding my professional connections.”

“My experience with the Skills for Hire program and the team has been the best online education course experience I’ve had – and I’m constantly upgrading my skills. The support is second to none. The educational content is relevant and easy to access on and offline. The added bonus of the Career Kickstarter program was very helpful in shaping my job search strategies.”

"Just finished my first career kickstarter, I thought it was worth saying that I am so grateful for this opportunity and the support we are receiving from everyone. There were so many questions I never even considered in the past and I wish I would have been exposed to these questions when I was younger. I am looking forward to our 1 on 1, and I'll be ready to go to map out a plan for the future. Big shoutout to the rest of the Digital NS staff thanks for all that you do."
